The Federation of teachers, Fédération autonome du collégial (FAC)--Quebec College Federation has joined the BDS campaign.

14 March 2009 - the Federal Assembly of the Quebec College Federation (FAC - www.lafac.qc.ca) unanimously adopted (with some abstentions) the following resolutions:
That the FAC expresses solidarity with the Palestinian people and provides support to organizations including the Coalition for Justice and Peace in Palestine, which are making efforts to acheive a just peace for the Palestinian people.
FAC will implement/concretize its solidarity with the Palestinian people by becoming part of the international campaign for boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israel, together with trade unions and social organizations that are committed in the same direction, as a political solution consistent with international law and universal principles of human rights will not be negotiated by the Palestinian and Israeli governments democratically elected.

Samedi le 14 mars 2009, l‘assemblée fédérative de la FAC (Fédération autonome du collégial, www.lafac.qc.ca) a adopté à l‘unanimité, avec abstentions, les propositions suivantes:
Que la FAC se déclare solidaire du peuple palestinien et qu‘elle donne son appui aux organisations, notamment la Coalition pour la justice et la paix en Palestine (CJPP), qui déploient des efforts pour que s‘instaure une paix juste pour le peuple palestinien.
Que la FAC concrétise son action de solidarité avec le peuple palestinien au moyen de la campagne international de boycottage, de désinvestissement et de sanctions à l‘endroit d‘Israël, de concert avec les organisations syndicales et sociales qui se sont engagées dans la même direction, et ce, tant qu‘une solution politique conforme au droit international et aux principes universels des droits de l‘homme ne sera
pas négociée par les gouvernements palestinien et israélien démocratiquement élus.
